Rustamji Armed Police Training College Indore (Madhya Pradesh)
The PRTS Indore, led by Mr. Varun Kapoor (IPS), has developed a successful public outreach program called the “Black Ribbon Initiative.” This program aims to raise awareness and educate all sections of society about computer security, preventing cyber offenses, and avoiding unintended violations of the IT Act (Amended) 2008.
The initiative focuses on cyber security training programs and seminars for high-level police officers (Sub Inspector-Superintendent of Police). So far, they have organized 98 training programs and 6 seminars, successfully training over 4000 police officers in 10 different modules of cyber security.
Project Cy-Cops is an innovative and groundbreaking initiative in the field of cyber security education. With the alarming rise in cyber crime and insecurity, individuals from all walks of life, including children, students, youth, women, professionals, businesses, and the elderly, are frequently targeted by various cyber attacks.
This initiative provides advanced cyber security training and seminars for police officers (Sub Inspector-Superintendent of Police). So far, they have conducted 98 training programs and 6 seminars, training over 4000 officers in 10 different cyber security modules. Police personnel from 22 state police forces (excluding MP Police), 6 Para Military Organizations, and the Indian Army have benefited from the training.
